American V-Twin Service Tech
This position requires that you to have a thorough working knowledge of American V-Twin Motorcycles from Harley Davidson to Customs. Your primary focus will be executing all the American Motorcycle service work and perform other Import service, and shop duties as necessary. This position also offers greater rewards, if you qualify and are willing, to take on the additional role of Service Manager. Ten years of experience and formal training desired.
Product Manager/Service Writer
This position will oversee all sales and purchasing activities. Responsibility includes Product Sales, writing Service Orders and offering general motorcycle accessory recommendations. In this position you will represent the front line to satisfy all our customers’ needs and assist in Shop Workload Management. The overall “Customer Experience” is vital to the Product Manager role. You will work closely with the General or Service Manager to assure customer expectations are met. You will have the opportunity to work closely with vendors and manufacturers to assure A Bikers Garage has the latest and greatest product offerings, featuring all the top brands, demanded by enthusiasts. You will be a working manager leading by example and mentoring with others on staff to be knowledgeable and effective. This is a key position in our working manager structure that qualifies you to be considered for a general manager of a store. Ten years experience, including prior personnel management and a minimum of an Associates Degree desired.
Store General Manager
This position will oversee all Sales and Service activities and is responsible for overall Store and employee management. Knowledge must range from Sales of Accessory components and packages to all aspect of Service Management of Accessory Installations to Quick Change Oil, Routine Maintenance and tire change activities. Overall scheduling of Customers and shop workload management responsibility is also included in this position. You will be focused on assigning work in the shop to meet our same day service objectives along with daily, weekly and monthy Performance Goals. The overall “Customer Experience” is vital to the General Manager success. You will work closely with the Product Manage/Service Writer and Techs to assure customer expectations and A Bikers Garage Quality Standards are met. You will be a working manager leading by example and mentoring your staff to be efficient and productive. This is the key Leadership position for A Bikers Garage. Ten years experience, including prior personnel management and a minimum of an Associates Degree or Technical Certification desired.
This can be a part or full time support position answering directly to the General Manager. You will have purchasing and sales responsibilities including writing Repair Orders. The key to success is assuring Customer Satisfaction through strong Product Knowledge. In this position, it is important to stay abreast of the trends from cool customs to hot sport bikes and the latest off road products and be able help our customers get exactly what they need. Prior motorcycle sales and/or service experience, along with successful completion of a Degree or Certificate Program desired.
Import Service Tech
This position requires you to have a thorough working knowledge of Metric and European Import Motorcycles from Touring to Sport bikes. A strong knowledge of makes and models from the 1980’s right up to the latest Production bikes if important. Your primary focus will be executing all the Import Motorcycle service work and perform other American V-Twin service, and shop duties, as necessary. Skills include ability to perform routine maintenance tasks to Valve Adjustment, Carburetor Rebuild/Adjustment to ability to perform Electronic System Diaognostics. This position also offers greater rewards, if you qualify and are willing, to take on the additional role of Service Manager. Ten years of experience and formal training desired.
General Shop Tech/ Detail
This is an entry level position and an ideal starting point for someone who has just completed certification at Wyotech or MMI. This is also a great starting point for someone with a few years of practical experience and/or limited motorcycle shop experience. You will start off focused on Quick Change Oil services, tire changes and detail work. You will graduate into accessory installations that will increase in complexity as your skill set grows.
